The following rules andregulations are formulated with a view to the security for all faculty members,who are  kindly required to follow them.

一、教师在校期间应严格遵守中国法律法规，不得从事任何违反中国法律和法规的活动。

I. Faculty members must abide bythe Chinese national and local laws and regulations concerned.

二、教师请保持公寓安静，不得从事影响他人休息的活动。不可喧哗和放大电视及音响音量等，严禁酗酒，赌博等活动。

II. Please keep quiet in the apartmentso as not to disturb others. When you turn on TV or talk with others, you’dbetter not have loud voice in the apartment. Alcohol abuse, gambling and othersimilar activities are strictly prohibited.

三、教师要爱护公寓内设施，管好个人的物品，注意防火、节水、节电。离开房间时，关掉空调、电视、电灯等家用电器。

III. Please take good care of theappliances and the articles in the apartment and pay special attention tofireproofing, water saving and electricity saving. Before leaving the apartment,please turn off electrical home appliances, such as air-conditioners, TV sets andelectrical lights.

四、来访人员需凭本人有效证件在公寓管理办公室登记后方可进入公寓。来访人员晚23:00时前必须离开公寓。外教公寓不允许留宿他人。如发现私自留宿他人，则根据规定上报当地公安管理部门。学生不得进入外教房间，如需咨询外教问题，可到外教公寓楼梯间休息处或国际学院外教办公室咨询。

IV. Any visitorsshould register at the guardhouse before entering the apartment, and have toleave before 23:00. Please do not allow anybody else to stay in yourapartments overnight without permission. If violation occurs, the InternationalExchange Center will report it to the Local Public Security Office according tothe regulations.Students are not allowed to stay at foreign teachers’apartment at night without permission in order not to disturb teachers’ workingand rest. Students may chat with teachers at the lobby of foreign teachers’building or teachers’ office at International School if there are anyquestions.

五、外教外出请告知国际交流中心人员，并请保持手机开机，以方便我们能够及时给予帮助。

V. When foreign teachers go outsidefor a journey, please let the International Exchange Center know where you aregoing and keep the phone numbers of the staff from the International ExchangeCenter in hand, in case you need any help.

六、外教公寓管理员应告知外教如何使用公寓用品，教师如发现公寓问题应及时告知工作人员。

VI. The administrators shouldinstruct teachers how to use the equipment in the apartment. If any resident ofthe apartment has any problems, please do not hesitate to contact theInternational Exchange Center as soon as possible. The office staff is ready tohelp until the teachers know how to properly use it.

七、对故意损坏公寓财物，破坏公寓管理秩序者，我处有权按情节轻重予以处罚。

VII. Teachers should take care offurniture and equipment provided by the school in the apartment. Willful damageis forbidden and the violator will be required to pay for public propertydeliberately damaged.

八、公寓住宿者不得在公寓内饲养宠物。

VIII. Faculty members are not allowedto keep pets.

九、住宿者不得擅自改动房间内的任何设施。入住期间不得擅自更换房门钥匙、不得擅自为非本房间住宿人员配钥匙或另加门锁。

Ⅸ. The resident should notchange the facilities in the room. It is not allowed to change the locks of theapartment or make copies of the key for others or add another key withoutpermission.

十、室内的生活垃圾应及时清理，不得随意堆置在公共楼道内，不得从楼上外抛。

Ⅹ. Garbage should becleaned on time and it is suggested to move the packaged rubbish into thedustbin and not to be piled in the public corridor or throw from the windows.

十一、如发现室内的设施有故障和不安全隐患，及时向宿舍管理人员或国际交流中心报告。如遇火灾请立即切断电源、迅速离开，并立即拨打报警电话：火警电话“119”、报警服务台电话“110”。

Ⅺ.The resident should report toadministrators or International Exchange Center immediately once any equipmentfailure or safety problems are found. If there is in the event of fire, pleaseshut off the power and leave the room immediately, call “119” for fire and “110” for alarm.

十二、住宿者节假日期间如离校外出不在公寓内居住的，应到国际交流中心登记，住房钥匙必须妥善保管或交由国际交流中心保管，不得擅自交他人保管或借给他人使用。

Ⅻ. During the holiday,before leaving, the residents should report to International Exchange Center,and make sure that the key is taken care of properly or place it in the center.The key should not be given to anyone else without permission.

十三、外教公寓房间有限，不允许随意调换房间。

XIII.The rooms are limited at the the Foreign Teachers’ Apartment Building. Andit is not allowed to change rooms.

十四、请勿将厕纸投入坐便器，以防堵塞。

XIV.Please don’t flush toilet paper and put used paper inthe trash bin.

十五、住宿者如违反以上规定造成任何不良后果，则必须承担全部责任。

XV. Anyactivity involving the disobeying of the regulations or breaching the Chinese lawwill receive the corresponding penalty
